This privacy policy explains how Menzili.tn collects, uses and protects the personal data of its users.

Menzili.tn undertakes to comply with the provisions applicable in Tunisia regarding the protection of personal data, in particular organic law no. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data.

1. Data collected

Depending on your use of the site, Menzili.tn may collect:

• Account data: last name, first name, email address, phone number and password. Passwords are stored in a secure form and are never kept in plain text.
• Professional data: agency or company name, professional type, business contact details and other information needed to present the profile.
• Listing data: information about the property (type, location, price, description, photographs) and the contact details associated with the listing.
• Contact form: name, email address, subject and message content.
• Technical and browsing data: information needed for the operation and security of the site, and, where enabled, audience-measurement data.

2. Use of data

The data collected is used in particular to:

• create and manage user accounts;
• publish, display and moderate listings;
• enable connections between advertisers and interested persons;
• respond to requests sent via the contact form;
• ensure the operation and security of the site;
• detect and prevent abuse, fraud and malicious use;
• measure and improve the performance and use of the site.

Menzili.tn does not sell its users' personal data.

3. Retention period

Data is kept for a period proportionate to its purpose:

• User account: for the duration of the account's activity, then in accordance with applicable legal obligations or until its deletion where possible;
• Listings: during their publication period, then for the time needed for their archiving or deletion;
• Contact messages: for the time needed to process the request.

Some data may be kept longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend rights.

4. Your rights

In accordance with the applicable Tunisian regulations, you may exercise the rights granted to you regarding your personal data, in particular:

• Right of access: request information about the data concerning you;
• Right of rectification: request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Right of erasure: request the deletion of your data where the legal conditions are met;
• Right to object: object, under the conditions provided by the regulations, to certain processing of your data.

Some information can also be changed directly from your personal account.

5. Cookies

Menzili.tn uses cookies necessary for the operation of the site, in particular to maintain authentication sessions and provide certain features.

When audience-measurement tools are used, browsing data may also be collected in order to measure the audience and improve the site.

You can configure your browser to limit or refuse certain cookies. Refusing necessary cookies may, however, prevent some site features from working properly.

6. Security

Menzili.tn implements technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

However, no system for transmitting or storing data over the Internet can guarantee absolute security.
